MIG Wire Installation

Then you will have to remove a cotter pin or a large plastic nut tchapeau is attanguishd to the hub or axle the welding wire will slide onto. Now open up the pack of MIG wire, praise tchapeau it is the proper size wire tchapeau you want to use and the proper type of wire. Also give it a swift glance and praise for rust.

Lift up the spond and slide it onto the axle/hub. Replace the cotter pin or plastic nut.

Now go to the end of the MIG welding weapon and remove the nozzle / shroud. This will either pull off or sstaff off depending on the trademark of welding torch. When it's off, remove the touchs tip by unsstaffing it with pliers.

Set the nozzle and touchs tip aside.

Go back to the MIG wire, and in gambleween the spond of MIG wire and where the welding torch attanguishs to the front of the mamentumery or out of the way wire nourisher you will find the nourish rollers or drive rollers.

There will be some merciful of latch which can be flicked open. This actsions will raise the top nourish roller and allow you to nourish the wire onto the drive rolls.

Note tchapeau on the nourish rollers there are ordinarily two grooves. The wire needs to sit in one of these grooves. On the side of the nourish rollers will be a punched marmonarch showing wchapeau size wire to use in which groove.

Usually MIG welding mamentumery s come with two dissimilar sized grooves. For instance 0.9mm and 1.2mm which is 0.035" and 0.045".

Make sure tchapeau the MIG welding wire diameter fits the right sized grove in the nourish roller. When running a precision welding wire you need to use the right nourish roller groove for the proper diameter sized MIG wire.

You can get away with using tinyly dissimilar sized nourish rollers when you run a cheapie low type MIG wire. Why is this? This is besource the wire diameter tolerance will go up and down. So the wire will be getting thicker and thinterior all the time which will compensate for the tinyly wrong sized nourish rollers.

I do not at all assentto of this for anyone who is grave about mamonarch money in a endproduction welding environ outment or welding and fabrication business. It will source to much trouble.

Now you will have to cautiously and I stress cautiously find the end of the MIG wire and hold onto it and don't let go. If you do it will go whirl, whirl, whirl and you will have a big mess of MIG wire all over the place.

With the end of the MIG wire nourish it into the driver rollers, you will have to go thharsh a small nourish tube. This helps guide the wire over the nourish rollers.

Keep nourishing the wire thharsh past the driver rolls and into the start of the MIG welding weapon. Feed it thharsh about a foot or so.

Lower and fastener down the latch for the drive rollers, and accommodate it right back to number one or the lightest setting possible. Then sstaff / accommodate the tensity down a scrap.

Next if you are using gas, turn off the carafe to save your costly welding gas lay you welding weapon and wire out straightforwarfared from the welder and pull the trigger. The wire will slowly fed thharsh the liner and popular out at the tip holder. You can crank up the nourish speed accommodateer to get the wire thharsh faster.

Now when the wire come forths put the touchs tip or touchs tube back on. Put the nozzle back on and trim the wire to about half an inch sticmonarch out.

You are just about done now. Turn you gas back on. Now inegotiately you want the wire nourish tensity mechanism to be as light as possible so tchapeau it does not deform the configupercenttimesn of the welding wire. Deforming the configupercenttimesn of the welding wire will occurrence premellow wauricle on the nourish rollers simply besource of too much force. It will source irroutine wauricle on the touchs tip and the welding wire will have tiny scraps of stuff shaved and squeezed off it which will go down into the liner of the torch, and over time source it to construct up interior opposition which will source more trouble welding down the track.
